Q: WHAT IS THE BOOKING PROCESS?
Yay! I’m so excited you want to book a session!
I might even do a little happy dance over here! 💛
Here’s how it works:
Choose your session – Pick the package that best fits your needs.
Sign the contract – I’ll email you an electronic contract to review and sign.
Secure your date – Once the contract is signed, I’ll send an invoice for the non
refundable initial payment to reserve your session.
Balance due – The remaining balance is due the day before your session. For
elopements or small events, the balance is due two weeks prior.

Everything is done online, making it super simple and convenient! My goal is to
make the process stress-free and easy, so you can focus on enjoying your
session.
Q: HOW DO YOU DELIVER PHOTOS?

All of your professionally edited, high-resolution photos are delivered through
an online gallery—making it super easy and convenient (yes, convenience is
kind of my thing 😉).

You’ll get your own personal download code to save your images, and you can
share the gallery and code with family or friends who want in on the fun!

The gallery is simple to navigate, but just in case you need a little help, I’ve
created a video tutorial to walk you through the download process step by step
Q: DO YOU PROVIDE PROPS?
I don’t provide props or clothing—my focus is always on the person (or people)
in front of my camera. My goal is to capture you as you are, with no fancy
rops, lighting setups, or special outfits needed. All I really need is you and my
camera!
That said, if you have something special you’d like to include in your photos—
a blanket, a favorite toy, or a meaningful item—please feel free to bring it
along!
Q: HOW MANY PHOTOS GET
DELIVERED?
The number of photos you receive depends on the package you choose.
For all the details—including session length, pricing, and the number of
images—check out the Investments tab above. It has everything you need to
know to pick the perfect session for you!
Q: ARE PRINTS AVAILABLE?
Yes! I work with a professional photo lab to provide high-quality prints.
All prints are available by request, so you can choose exactly what you’d like to
 display or gift.

Q: WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR MY SESSION?
I recommend avoiding neon colors—especially bright orange—as they can be
distracting in photos. Neutral colors, earth tones, and softer shades like light
blue, navy, pastels, or muted tones usually look amazing!
Also, try to avoid large logos or busy patterns, as they can draw attention away
 from your face.
But the most important thing? Wear something you feel comfortable and
confident in—that’s what will truly shine in your photos!
Q: CAN I HAVE THE RAW/UNEDITED IMAGES?
Short answer: no.

Long answer: I put hours of time, care, and attention into every image I deliver.
When you hire me, you’re hiring me for my editing style and expertise, which
is what makes your photos shine!

The raw files aren’t included, but don’t worry—the images you do get are the
best of the session. I only deliver photos that are worth keeping—no closed
eyes, blurry shots, or awkward mid-sentence faces. I promise every photo you
receive is ready to treasure forever.
Q: WHAT ARE YOU MOST
COMFORTABLE PHOTOGRAPHING?
I specialize in natural light, outdoor, lifestyle portrait sessions, which include
portraits, families, couples, and the occasional small elopement.
I’m always excited to try new things—after all, that’s the best way to learn and
 grow!

I’m open to pretty much anything, but if I ever feel underqualified for a session,
I’ll be completely upfront with you. Honesty and transparency are really
important to me!
Q: WHEN CAN WE EXPECT PHOTO
 DELIVERY
For standard sessions (portraits, families, couples, etc.), you can typically expect
your gallery 4–5 weeks after your session.

For weddings or events, galleries are usually delivered within 8–10 weeks.
I put care and attention into every edit, so thank you for your patience.

But don’t worry—you won’t be left hanging that long! I always provide a few
sneak peeks well before the full gallery is ready, so you’ll have some favorites to
enjoy and share while you wait.
Q: DO YOU SHOOT IN A STUDIO
OR WITH LIGHTING EQUIPMENT?

Nope! I photograph outdoors with natural light only. I don’t use studio spaces or
lighting equipment—I let God’s creation and the beauty of nature set the
stage.
Keeping it simple creates a laid-back, relaxed environment, which helps you
feel comfortable and allows me to capture the most genuine, natural images.
In my opinion, that’s when the best moments happen!
Q: WHAT GEAR DO YOU USE?
I shoot with a Canon 6D Mark II, and my go-to lenses are the Canon
50mm f/1.8 and the Canon 85mm f/1.8.

Q: CAN YOU HOLD A DATE FOR ME?
Unfortunately, I can’t hold dates without a non-refundable retainer.
All bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Once your retainer is paid, your date is officially reserved, and I block it off just
for you. Since I typically dedicate only one session per day, I won’t offer that
spot to anyone else once it’s yours.
Q: WHAT TIMES OF THE DAY DO YOU PREFER TO SHOOT?
In one word: Golden Hour! ✨
I love scheduling sessions about an hour before sunset (or just after sunrise,
but I am SO not a morning person!) because the light is soft, warm, and
incredibly flattering. It’s my absolute favorite time to capture those dreamy,
glowing images!

Of course, I can make other times of day work if needed, but I generally try to
avoid 11am–4pm. That’s when the sun is directly overhead, creating harsh
light and unflattering shadows. My goal is always to put you in the best light
possible—literally!
Q: DO YOU TRAVEL?
Yes, absolutely! I’d love to travel for your session or event. 🌎✈️

Travel does come with additional costs, which the client is responsible for, but
don’t worry—we’ll discuss and confirm everything before booking so there are
no surprises. This may include things like flights, rental cars, or hotel stays, if
needed.

Q: HOW SHOULD I PREP MY FAMILY
BEFORE A SESSION?

Here are a few helpful tips:
✨ Well-rested + well-fed = happy kiddos (and parents!)

Make sure everyone gets a good nap and a meal before your session. If your
session is in the evening, try to push naps a little later if possible.

✨ Skip the stains.

Avoid colorful drinks, lollipops, or anything that could stain mouths, teeth, or

clothes within 24 hours of your shoot.

✨ Keep the vibes calm.

I know prepping for photos can feel overwhelming, but try your best to stay
relaxed around your kids. They pick up on stress quickly, and calm parents
help create calm, happy children—which makes for the sweetest photos.

✨ A little note.

Please keep in mind that while I’ll do everything I can to capture genuine smiles
and sweet moments, I can’t control cooperation levels during a session. If
someone is uncooperative, I can’t be held responsible if the final gallery isn’t
exactly what you envisioned.
Q: DO YOU EDIT ALL OF THE IMAGES?
Yes! Every single image you receive has been carefully edited by me—one at a
time. I spend hours pouring thought and intention into your final gallery to
ensure it reflects my style and vision.

I do not take editing requests (within reason). All edits are completed at my
discretion to fit my workflow and the consistent look you see in my portfolio.

That said, if there’s something you’re self-conscious about—like a scar,
blemish, or mole—please let me know before your session so I can keep that in
mind while editing. Once your gallery has been delivered, re-edits will not be
made.

Please note that I will not alter my editing style. If you’re looking for a different
aesthetic, I encourage you to choose a photographer whose work best matches
 your vision.
Q: WILL OUR IMAGES HAVE

YOUR LOGO ON THEM?

All images you see posted online (social media previews, sneak peeks, etc.) will
have my watermark/logo on them. This helps protect my work and discourages
 screenshots.

That being said—every image you receive in your final, downloaded gallery will
NOT have any watermark or logo on it. Those are 100% yours to use and enjoy
 at full quality!

When you first open your gallery, the images may display with my logo to
prevent low-quality screenshots. Once downloaded properly, your photos will
be logo-free and ready to share, print, and cherish.

I always appreciate it when clients tag my photography page when posting
online—it means the world and helps others find me!

Q: DO WE GET THE COPYRIGHT TO THE
 IMAGES?
You will receive a copyright release, which gives you permission to print, share,
and display your images wherever and however you like.
However, this is not the same as owning the copyright. I, as the photographer,
remain the creator and copyright holder of the images. Selling or claiming
copyright as a client is not possible.

In short: you can enjoy and share your photos freely, but the ownership of the
 images stay with me.

Q: IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY SHOOT/WEDDING,

IS THE RETAINER
REFUNDABLE?

The retainer fee is non-refundable. It guarantees that your date is reserved just
for you, and I turn down all other inquiries for that day once your contract is
signed, and the retainer is paid.

However, your retainer can be applied to another session or a rescheduled date,
 as long as I’m available.
Please note: there is a 1-month time limit to apply it to
a new session. Beyond that, a new retainer will be required to secure
your date, and the original retainer remains non-refundable.
Q: AT MY WEDDING CAN FAMILY AND

FRIENDS TAKE PHOTOS WITH THEIR

CAMERAS?
While I don’t normally have an issue with this, I ask that all guests respect my
role as the paid photographer. Please make sure they don’t block me, push in
front of my shots, or swarm around during important moments. If a guest
gets in the way and a key moment is missed, I cannot be held responsible.

For privacy and focus, family and friends are not allowed during the bride and
groom portraits. Having extra people nearby can be distracting and take away
 from the couple’s special moments.

Finally, I require that I am the only paid photographer on site, which is included
in my contract. This ensures your day is captured professionally, smoothly, and
 without interruptions.
